Secondary Schools not following guidelines.

It appears that Secondary Schools across the country are not following government guidelines in keeping BOTH parents involved in children's education.

If you are a non resident parent you have equal rights to information about education matters.

If you son/daughter is in this position write to the governors of the school and the Director for children, families and schools in the area your grandchildren go to school.

The Director should gently inform schools of their responsibilities.

Let me know if you are having this issue.

Please also write to your MP's asking them to pass on this concern to the Minister responsible for education.
